SUGGESTION   Creating + adding multiple items to the same cart?   

You can choose to create a QUOTE or create an ORDER.  When adding multiple products to a cart, best to create QUOTES first and add to the same cart.  Do not add shipping information until you have added all products to cart.  When you add shipping location for one item in cart, it will apply to all.  The quote cart can then be converted to an ORDER.

And ADD TO CART.  Create a NEW CART or select an existing cart.  Popup will display existing carts for this client with same 'ship to' address.

SUGGESTION   Creating + adding multiple quotes to the same cart? 

Add a shipping address after all the quotes have been created and added to the cart.  When cart is complete, if shipping address is same for all items in cart, adding address to one of the cart items will automatically populate same address for all other items in cart.  If items have multiple shipping addresses you will be able to create separate carts for each shipping address.
